We very much enjoyed our tour with João in Coimbra. We felt that we got a great overview of the history of Coimbra from the Baixa area up to the University (and back down again). His knowledge of the area and stories he told helped bring the history to life. We appreciate his suggestions for places to eat (we ate at two of them and they were great) and must see attractions.
Even though there was only two of us the guide still took us around Coimbra. He was very informative about Portuguese history and the city. His english was very good and he gave us good advice on where to go after the tour and the best places to have a meal.
João was very knowledgeable and nice. Very interesting tour
