    The activity is very comprehensive; you get a real sense of life in Pico. Depending on availability, you might be able to do the tour on your own, as was the case for us. Marcius, our guide, was incredibly friendly and did everything to make our experience top-notch. It includes a meal at a very nice restaurant—a local place, simple but with good food. The only problem we had was that the tour indicated we were going to a cheese factory, which we didn't, but they offered us a solution. The cheese tasting was very poor.
